Jay-Z Should not win the MC of 2009 Title

"Jay-Z is not only an outstanding hip-hop artist, but a dedicated philanthropist. Some people think he definitely deserve to be the top MC of 2009 title. However, I personally think it is pretty funny that MTV is just straight up ignoring inquiries about not putting Eminem on the list. Personally, I don't listen to his music; he is a little too aberrant for my taste so I don't really care. My point is however that his absence from list epitomizes the inconsistency of the list and the members of the round table. How does MTV nominate Eminem in all qualifying categories at the VMA's and even award him with best hip-hop video but then not put him on their hottest MC list? Not to mention he has one of the highest selling hip-hop albums of 2009. Eminem had the most votes on the fan poll and they did not even put him on the list, Eminem is top selling artist of the decade, Eminem had top selling album of 2009, Eminem is coming out with even a second album this year, Eminem was voted greatest rapper ever by the people.
